“Great hotel, comfortable and nicely located in French Concession”

I stayed here for a week for both business and holiday. Staff is very helpful and friendly but sometimes you need some extra time to fully explain your wishes or orders. Rooms at the executive level (floors 26 and up) are spacious and have all the conveniences required. The swimming pool is exceptionally large and the Japanese sauna is excellent....

good hotel, great location, nice service. overall, befitting a business traveller. breakfast was superb. had a Kimona as a turndown gift, which was a surprising yet an adorable souvenir. rooms are bit tired but showcase the Japanese technologies. had a great stay.

Okura Garden Hotel Shanghai is highly recommendable. It is comfortable by all means. The service is in top. The view over shanghai is fantastic. In the hotel there are excellent restaurants. The atmosphere is nice and quiet.

Overall, I liked this hotel and would highly recommend to anyone.As the hotel is owned and managed by a Japanese hotel group, you may find here as a little Japanese village. “mixed feelings about this highly recommended hotel”

We had an ok stay here. The hotel is not spanking new but perfectly serviceable. The reservation desk helped us quite a bit before our arrival as we were experiencing a lot of problems with obtaining the visa, and had to request the hotel to write in English and Chinese that we did indeed have a reservation with them, etc....
